Video

Video players are commonly used for a variety of video content, such as movie trailers, product demos, instructional videos, and webinars.

This module offers an accessible video player with full support for screen readers (using Plyr). It also includes the ability to upload a WebVTT file which displays captions for visitors who have hearing disabilities.

Video Settings

General Tab

In the General tab of the module, you can select the Video Type (HTML5, YouTube, or Vimeo) and fields are presented depending on this choice.

• HTML5
  • Video Title: The title of your video.
  • Video (MP4): A video file in MP4 format. Most modern browsers support this format.
  • Video (WebM): A video file in WebM format to use as fallback. This format is required to support browsers such as Firefox and Opera.
  • WebVTT File: Caption file in WebVTT format.
  • Poster Image: This is a thumbnail for the video before the Play button is pressed.
• YouTube
  • Embed: The embed ID of your YouTube video.
• Vimeo
  • Embed: The embed ID of your Vimeo video.

In the Advanced tab of the module, there are all the usual settings for margins, visibility, and advanced HTML settings
